Shana joined our team in 2015 as our office manager with over two decades of dental experience. Starting out as a dental assistant, she then went into the business aspect of dentistry – working as both a financial coordinator and treatment coordinator for many years. She has worked with doctors in general dentistry, orthodontics, periodontics, and endodontics.
Shana’s education includes a Business Generalist Certificate, an AS in Management & Marketing, a BS in Organizational Administration, and a BS in Marketing. She has hundreds of continuing education credits in the areas of Dental Practice Management, Team Building, and Dental Marketing. She is currently a member in good standing of the AADOM (American Association of Dental Office Managers). Shana loves building great relationships with her patients and is always willing to help them come to a good understanding of their treatment, dental benefit plans, and financial investments here at Sandpiper Dental.
Being a homebody, Shana’s priority is spending time with her family – her husband and best friend Dave and their blended family of six awesome children – Jourdain, Amber, Jakob, Jadon, Jazmin, and Jaidyn. Her other interests include traveling, crafting, gardening, cooking, baking, attending concerts, and binge-watching on Netflix.
Registered Dental Hygienist
Kady joined our team in 2016 as our full-time hygienist. She grew up in Maple Grove and graduated from Herzing College in 2007 with her AS in Dental Hygiene. She also has countless hours of continuing education in the areas of dental hygiene, team building, and patient communication. Kady enjoys working in the dental field and is especially knowledgeable in the area of periodontal disease. She enjoys getting to know her patients and watching them attain optimal dental health through in-depth education and routine visits with her.
Kady currently lives in Elk River with her husband Andy and two young boys – Wyatt and Sawyer. She enjoys going up to the cabin on Rush Lake to go boating in the summer with her family. Her other interests include crafting, going to sporting events, animals, and spending time with her boys. She some day hopes to own a hobby farm.
